PREVIEW: Cavs Looking to Begin a Winning Streak as They Travel to Play the 8-3 Rockets Tonight

3. Step Up on D

The Cavs remain the worst in defense thus far this season, allowing 119.2 points on 51.9 percent shooting over their last five games. The Rockets with Harden at the forefront can score, as they are averaging 109.9 points on 45.7 percent shooting in their first 11 games of the year.

Bottom line is Harden is going to get his, but after that the Cavs have to find a way to defend better, which won’t be easy minus Rose and Thompson. The Cavs have to figure out why players are getting so many open shots, and make sure they hold teams to one shot possessions. It’s not been easy thus far this season.
