The Medina varsity boys soccer team defeated University School 3-0 in an OHSAA Regional Semifinal match on Wednesday evening. Cole Werthmuller, Steve Samuelson, and Mike Kelly scored goals for the Bees. Jake Vogrin and the defense recorded another shutout.
Medina improves to 15-1-4 overall on the season. They advance to their 3rd straight Regional Final on Saturday. The Bees will take on the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs with a return trip to the Final Four on the line. Site and time still to be determined.
