Medina Girls Open Season With A 51-45 Victory Over Amherst

The Medina Girls Basketball team opened the 2018-19 season with a 51-45 home victory over Amherst Steele (0-1) behind senior point guard Alexa Nau’s career-high 16 points & Sarah McKee (9 pts, 7 rbs, 3 blk).
Aly Dwyer (7 pts, 2 ast, 2 blk) & Katie Neate (5 pts, 3 stl) sparked the second-half defense while Madison Luthy (6 pts, 7 rb, 2 ast) & Lindsey Linard (6 pts, 8 rb, 3 blk) led the team in rebounding.Up next, the Bees (1-0) will host Strongsville (1-0) in the GCC opener on Wed., Nov. 28.
