LeBron James wrote an op-ed piece for Business Insider, endorsing Hillary Clinton for President.
Among the reasons included for his decision to endorse Clinton, LeBron had this to say:
“When I look at this year’s presidential race, only one person running truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty. And when I think about the kinds of policies and ideas the kids in my foundation need from our government, the choice is clear.
That candidate is Hillary Clinton.”
First off, if anyone is taking political advice from professional athletes – whether it’s LeBron or Curt Schilling – there may be some better sources to go to for information, but LeBron is voicing his opinion like anybody else can.
