Indians End Final Road Trip of Regular Season Topping Mariners 4-2; Three Takeaways From the Win

1. Wrapping Up at Home

The Indians get a well deserved off day after a 5-1 road trip with the only loss on Friday against the Mariners. After the off day they will get six games at home to wrap up the regular season, three each with the Twins and White Sox.

The team has to win just two of their final six to get to 100 wins, and while they are still keeping the Astros off their trail for the top spot in the American League, they need to keep winning and have the Dodgers lose a couple for the best spot in baseball.

You’ll get another round through the rotation which is good, and it will be interesting as the Twins have a LOT to play for as they are trying to stick around for a wild card spot, and the White Sox have been out of the running for some time.

It’s going to be a fun six days, the Indians still have a lot to play for, and with the nice weather this week it would be great to see a lot of fans at Progressive Field starting Tuesday.
