Indians End Final Road Trip of Regular Season Topping Mariners 4-2; Three Takeaways From the Win

3. Classic Kluber

Corey Kluber once again was very good, winning his American League leading 18th game of the season as he threw seven solid innings allowing two runs.

The line on Kluber went as followed – 7 innnings, two runs, six hits, two walks and 10 strikeouts. It was his 15th start this season with at least 10 strikeouts.

He’s got one more start before the postseason, set for Thursday against the Twins at Progressive Field. You have to feel great about the Indians 1-2-3 of pitching of Kluber, Carlos Carrasco and Trevor Bauer as the postseason gets ready to start in a week from Thursday.

Every World Series contender needs an ace, and the Indians have one of the, if not the best, in Kluber.
