Indians Announce Lonnie Chisenhall Scratched from Tonight’s Lineup with ‘Possible Head Injury’

CLEVELAND – The Indians have made a lineup change for their scheduled 6:10pm start, and with it comes some questions as to what is going on with Lonnie Chisenhall.

The team at 5:23pm announced that Daniel Robertson will now play in right field tonight, replacing Chisenhall who is a scratch with what was announced as a ‘possible head injury.’

What that injury is and when it might have taken place is anyone’s guess. There was no mention of an injury to Chisenhall earlier today by manager Terry Francona during his pregame briefing with the media.

Robertson will hit 9th in the lineup, moving up a spot to catcher Roberto Perez and center fielder Bradley Zimmer.

On the season Chisenhall is hitting .261 with six homers and 22 RBI. Robertson is hitting .200 in four games, with one triple and one RBI.
