2. Some Unsung Heroes

A couple big names that haven’t been mentioned a lot during the streak had big nights on Monday, among them were Roberto Perez and Austin Jackson.

Perez hit a key solo homer in the 5th to extend the Indians lead at the time to 2-0, his 7th of the season, and he’s now hitting .224.

Jackson has been sensational for the Tribe for most of the season, and Monday he put up 4 hits in 5 at bats and his now hitting .316.

While the streak has been about guys names Jose and Francisco in the media, it’s been a team effort all the way through.
