High School Football Player of the Week Poll: Who was the top performer Week Seven?

Week Seven

Week Seven saw a great slate of high school football games! There were many standout players. We at NEOSI have sorted through the games and found the candidates for this week’s Player of the Week. Voting closes Thursday and winner will be announced then. You can come back and vote once daily!

Austin Knowles – WR Medina

Knowles the wide receiver for the Medina Bees made his presence felt in a painful way for the opposition and he caught 3 TD passes in a Bees 56-21 W over Strongsville.

Austin’s nickname is CHEAT CODE and he snared TD’s of 66, 18 and 22 yards in the first half. Austin also became the leading receiver in Medina County history breaking the record of Brennan Schramm now an OHIO STATE BUCKEYE!! Austin ended the day with 3 TD’s on catches for 164 yards.

Jamari Curlett – WR Northeast HS

Curlett had four touchdowns in Northeast’s 31-0 victory over Lutheran East. With the four touchdowns, Curlett now has 15 touchdowns on the season. Before Friday’s game he has amassed 739 total yards – 296 rushing and 443 receiving.

Scotty Fox – QB Mentor

Fox threw for 250 yards and six touchdowns as Mentor handed Shaker their first loss of the season.
