Francisco Lindor Signed as “Global Face” of New Balance Baseball Cleats

New Balance announced Friday Francisco Lindor will become the face of the company’s baseball brand. Lindor signed a multi-year deal, but the terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

“He’s a special player of great character,” said Ray Hilvert, New Balance’s vice president of sports marketing. “His trajectory within the game has been tremendous, and his future holds a lot of promise. As we look to expand our baseball business into Korea and Japan, and other areas around the globe, he will be a global ambassador for us.”

Lindor told ESPN that the shoe company’s vote of confidence in him is “an honor.”

“The fit is perfect for me,” Lindor said. “I can wear them right out of the box.”

Lindor wore custom cleats during the MLB Postseason, representing Cleveland, and we can’t wait to see what the New Balance line will have in store.
