3. A Good Team Can’t Allow Big Plays

Sunday the Chargers had two huge plays that started as simple short catches that turned into big gains. First there was running back Danny Woodhead, who took a short catch and raced 61 yards, and then reserve receiver Dontrelle Inman did basically the same thing with a short pass and traveled 68 yards. Both plays came on drives that turned into 7 points for the Chargers. Stop just one and the Browns are coming home winners. Another example of how Jim O’Neil’s defense is a complete bust at this point. Better tackling and better technique would go a long way in helping this football team right now.
