Cavs second half collapse ends in 110-94 loss to Spurs; three takeaways

1. Poor 3-point shooting

For the second straight game at home, the Cavaliers struggled to make shots from beyond the 3-point arc. They went just 8-of-34, including just 3-of-14 in the first half. Over their last two home games, the Cavs are just 16-of-49 from long range.

After the game, LeBron James said that the shots the Cavs made were good looks, but much like against the Washington Wizards on Thursday, they just didn’t fall.

“It’s about getting the best look,” he said. “I think we had some very good looks and they just didn’t go down. We run our offense to get the best shot–if it’s a 3, a midrange shot, a layup or a dunk– and that’s just a product of our offense.”
