Browns to Work Out Free Agent Cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones

The Indians are reportedly interested in outfielder Adam Jones, and now there’s another Adam Jones that might be coming to town to play for the Browns.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones is set to have a workout for the Browns in Berea tomorrow. Jones is a free agent who didn’t go back to the Bengals as they didn’t pick up his option this offseason after playing there for the last eight seasons.

Jones will be 35 years old on September 30th, and there’s got to concern over how much gas he’s got left in the tank at this point in his career.

He suffered a season-ending groin injury last year, and was suspended to start last season.

Jones has been in plenty of trouble over the years, with his latest headline being an issue at an airport where he got into a fight earlier in July.

Is he worth the risk? Probably not, but he does have a relationship with Browns coach Hue Jackson, so it will come down to how much he’s worth and if the Browns want to bother with him.
