Blasiole With 5 TDs and 287 Yards Rushing to Lead Crestwood to 38-7 Victory Over Bison

Last week Crestwood running back Nate Blasiole had 262 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns in Crestwood’s 26-7 victory over Wickliffe. It was certainly an amazing performance that would be difficult to top.

But that is exactly what Nate Blasiole did on Thursday night against the Bison.

Blasiole ran for 287 yards on 15 carries (19.1 yards per carry average) and five touchdowns in Crestwood’s 38-7 Victory over Beachwood.

“We had a good plan from the coaches and we planned for them all week and we just came to dominate, and we dominated,” said Blasiole.

Crestwood got on the scoreboard late in the first quarter when Blasiole scored from 4 yards out with 1:49 left.  After converting the two point conversion Crestwood took an 8-0 lead.

Blasiole scored again with 2:20 left in the first half on a 93-yard touchdown run. Shortly thereafter, with 27 seconds left, Blasiole scored from 7 yards out to give Crestwood a commanding 22-0 lead heading into halftime.

After halftime Blasiole would score two more touchdowns. With 6:25 left in the third quarter, Blasiole scored on a 33-yard touchdown run.

Blasiole then scored Crestwood’s final touchdown of the night on a 51-yard run with 3:00 left in the third quarter.

Beachwood added a touchdown on Mar’Tez Pinkney’s 66-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Crestwood will next host Harvey in a week six matchup while Beachwood next hosts Brooklyn.
