Going into his fight with Volkan Oezdemir yesterday morning, Misha Cirkunov was easily one of the top and hottest prospects in the Light Heavyweight Division. He was 13-2 overall and 4-0 in his UFC career. He had four dominant wins in his UFC term, a first round KO, and 3 victories by brutal submission.
With a win yesterday against Oezdemir, there would have been a big money fight waiting for him. That dream ended in 28 quick seconds as Oezdemir left him lying in defeat. Where Cirkunov goes from here is anyone’s guess.
