Results From Day One of the Parma Holiday High School Hockey Tournament

PARMA, OHIO – Day 1 of the Parma Holiday Tournament kicked off Wednesday, December 26th. The round robin tournament awards 2 points for a win and 1 point per period (0.5 points per team if they tie the period). Here’s a recap of the Day 1 action:

Jason Edmonds (BKN) – 48 saves
Aaron Wrost (BKN) – 2 goals
Adam Jockers (HN) – 2 goals
Jacob Ledford (HN) – 2 assists

Holy Name earned 4 round robin tournament points with the win. Brooklyn earned 1 round robin tournament point.

Amherst Comets 10, NDCL Lions 0

Antczak (NDCL) – 26 saves
Joey Kramer (AMH) – 1 goal, 4 assists
Bela Farlow (AMH) – 2 goals, 2 assists
Michael Hughes (AMH) – 2 goals, 2 assists

Amherst earned 5 round robin tournament points with the win.

Parma Redmen 10, Mayfield Wildcats 0

Michael Fink (MAY) – 45 saves
Matt Higginbotham (PAR) – 3 goals, 3 assists
Matt Piech (PAR) – 2 goals, 2 assists
Robbie Gudin (PAR) – 1 goal, 2 assists

Parma earned 5 round robin tournament points with the win.
