Titans Hang On To Win Thriller 39-37 Over Shoremen

Angelo Svigelj-Smith had 14 points and Lian Levesque added seven points as Berea-Midpark beat Avon Lake 39-37 on Saturday night.

The Titans jumped out to an early 11-5 first quarter lead, but Shoremen senior Jordan Ball scored 8 points in the second quarter, and Avon Lake increased the defensive pressure, taking a two point lead into the half.

Tied at thirty a piece after three quarters, Berea-Midpark’s ball movement allowed four different Titans to score in the final quarter and seal the victory.

JV Result – Win – (59-56 2OT) – The Titans held off the Shoremen in double overtime 59-56. Jordan Cupach had a tremendous night from behind the three-point line, recording four three-pointers and having 16 points on the night. Freshmen Alex Kvak scored eleven points during the victory.
