Source: Brunswick Football to Name Mark Pinzone as Head Coach

According to a source close to the situation, Brunswick High School will name Mark Pinzone as its next head coach.

Pinzone most recently was head coach at Buckeye High School from 2013 to 2016, leading the Bucks to four straight playoff appearances and a total record of 34-11.

Pinzone was head coach at Holy Name from 2010-2012, but began his coaching career as an assistant for Brunswick’s staff for 15 years.

The Blue Devils went just 5-15 in their last two seasons, but appear to have found a coach who not only has a history of success, but a local connection to the program and the city.
