PREVIEW: Cavaliers will go for 12th straight win Monday against Bulls

3. Take a step forward

During the win streak, the Cavs have played with incredible efficiency and focus; however, against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday, their focus wasn’t all the way there down the stretch. After the game, LeBron James said the team took a half step backwards, since they allowed Memphis to tie the game in the final minutes.

Combine that with the fact that over the last four years, the Cavs have had issues with not giving top effort when they are playing struggling or depleted teams. Basically, regardless of the Bulls’ record, the Cavs can’t be looking past Monday night’s game.

On Monday night, the Cavs will need to come out re-energized if they want to keep the streak alive.
