The varsity boys soccer team defeated the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs 4-0 in an OHSAA Regional Final match on Saturday. Cole Werthmuller opened up the scoring for the Bees with a nice header on a beautiful cross from Parker Csiszar.
Josh Cabacungan kept it going with two goals of his own in the first half. Csiszar capped off the scoring with a goal of his own in the early part of the second half. Medina improves to 16-1-4 overall on the season. The Bees also claimed their 3rd consecutive Regional Championship and trip to the OHSAA Division I Final Four. They will face off once again with the Saint Ignatius Wildcats on Wednesday evening. The match will take place at North Ridgeville High School starting at 7pm. |
