An Inside Look On How The UFC Hypes Up The Crowd Seconds Before Going Live On Air

Have you ever wondered why it always seems as though the very second the UFC goes live on PPV, the crowd is worked into a frenzy?  I mean, there is no action going on, just two guys talking about the fights you’re about to see.

What could possibly have everyone so hyped up, an empty cage?  Over priced shirts? $10 beers? WHAT COULD IT BE??????

The reason the fans are worked into such an incredible frenzy is the promotional machine that is the UFC, at its best!  Exactly four minutes before they go live on PPV, they show a video of the greatest moments in UFC History set to the soundtrack of “Teenage Wasteland”

It may not seem like much, but trust me it is.  You don’t even have to be a die hard fan to get goosebumps from watching this.  In fact, as I tried to tape it, the crowd was so loud and thunderous, it was almost impossible to hold the phone straight.

Here it is, live and raw from UFC 218.  A look behind the curtain at the UFC.  Enjoy both parts courtesty of the twitter account of @VinceTheAuthor
