HS Boys Hoops: Willoughby South Picks Up Conference Win, Tops Chardon 63-46

The Willoughby South Rebels took home a Western Reserve Conference win Friday night, as they topped the Chardon Hilltoppers 63-46.

The Rebels scored a complete win, as overall nine Rebels scored and four were in double digits in the big win.

Tommy Wetzel led the way with 14 points, Damion Williams 13, Xavier Hopps 13, and Alvin Sloan had 11.

The win lifts the Rebels to 10-4 on the season and 7-1 in conference play.

Chardon with the setback falls to 6-7 on the year, 4-4 in WRC play this season.

South is back in action Sunday against Beachwood in the Chet Mason Invitational. The game is at Brush and starts at 12:45 pm.

Chardon will play at Brush against the Arcs on Tuesday night with a varsity tip of 7:30pm.
