Historic Win Streak Snapped at 22 – Indians Lose to Royals 4-3; Three Takeaways From the Loss

1. How Much Fun was the Last Few Days?

If the 2017 MLB Playoffs are half as fun as the last few days of Indians wins were, it’s going to be another October to remember for the Tribe.

The atmosphere down at Progressive Field this week was as magical as it’s been a very long time (okay maybe like last Ocotber), but the fans really turned out and were super into just about every pitch of the Indians run to make history.

The team overall delivered more than anyone could have ever expected, as winning 22 games straight is something that probably won’t be done in baseball for another 100 years.

The party atmosphere that the fans created is going to stick around for awhile, as this team is set to clinch the division in the next couple days, and they are still the front runner in the American League record wise.

It was a historical streak, one that will define this season no matter how it ends.
