4. Has Johnny Football Turned the Corner?

The sample size on the play of Browns QB Johnny Manziel is small to this point, but Sunday was his best game by far, as his scramble and throw to Travis Benjamin to put the Browns up 28-14 was a veteran play that saved the day when the Tennessee had gotten back in the game. Manziel was 8-for-15 for 172 yards and two TD’s, and seemed to have the offense much more under control than the first two starts of his career and last week when he played the final 3 quarters vs the Jets. It was a welcome sight for Browns fans to see the first-round pick playing as well as he did.
