Here’s everything you need to know about claiming the DraftKings Ohio promo code early sign-up offer.

How to Claim DraftKings Ohio Promo Code Offer

Getting your $200 in bonus bets with DraftKings Ohio Sportsbook couldn’t be any easier. Not only is there no promo code required, but you also don’t have to make a deposit.

Just use our exclusive DraftKings Ohio promo code link to create an account and once betting is officially live, eight $25 credits will be deposited to your account.

When it comes to using your free bets, keep the following details in mind:

  • Bonus bet credits cannot be split across multiple wagers.
  • Credits must be used within seven days before expiring and being removed from your account.
  • Any wagers won using a Bonus bet will not include the $25 wager in your winnings.
    • For example, let’s say you used one of your free bet credits on the Cleveland Browns to cover the spread against the Washington Commanders at -110 odds. This would normally result in a total payout of $47.72: $25 wager + $22.72 in winnings. When using a site credit, however, you would only receive the winnings or $22.72 in this example.

By using our DraftKings promo link, you will also qualify for the standard sportsbook bonus. When you make a deposit of at least $5, you will receive an additional $50 bonus bet and a 20% deposit match worth a maximum of $1,000.

Be aware that the deposit match does have a playthrough requirement, with which you have to wager $25 to receive $1 in bonus funds.

Tips for Using Your DraftKings Bonus Bets

Let’s start by explaining what I wouldn’t do with my bonus bets. Because you don’t receive your wager amount back when you use bonus bets, it doesn’t make sense to use the credits on heavy favorites.

It may seem like you’re “guaranteeing” a win, but this really just limits your potential return.

For NFL Week 17, for example, the Kansas City Chiefs have moneyline odds of -850 against the Denver Broncos at the time of this writing. If you used one of your $25 free bets on this and your wager hit, you would receive less than $3 back.

On the flip side, I also wouldn’t blindly bet on the biggest underdogs just because of the potential payout. Using a credit on the Broncos at +600 would result in a potential win of $150 but you’re more than likely just lighting one of your bets on fire.

My favorite strategy when using site credits is to find small underdogs or put together parlays with two or three legs to get more favorable odds.

As an example, if you parlayed the Chiefs’ moneyline with the Arizona Cardinals’ moneyline (+170), this would result in odds of +201. Using one of your eight $25 free bet credits on this parlay would be a potential payout of $50.44.

Popular Ohio Sports Betting Odds

Although Ohio sports fans have had to wait for over a year since Gov. Mike DeWine signed the state’s sports betting bill into law, it’s a fantastic time to get in on the action. With multiple leagues in full swing, there are plenty of options for bettors in the Buckeye State. Here are some of the events we expect to be most popular in the first few days of legalized betting:

  • Browns at Commanders
  • Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals
  • Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers
  • Ohio State men’s basketball at Northwestern
  • College Football National Championship
