Cavs clinch Central Division title with win over Knicks; three takeaways

2. The power of Love

Kevin Love was the Cavs’ leading scorer with 28 points on Monday night. He also added in five rebounds, two steals and one assist.

Love shot 9-of-17 from the field, including 6-of-13 from deep. In 10 games since returning from a broken hand, Love is averaging 42.3 percent shooting from the field and 45.6 percent shooting from deep.

“He’s a guy on the floor you have to get to him, you have to respect where he’s at,” head coach Tyronn Lue said of Love. “That opens up the floor for Bron to be able to get downhill, get into the middle of the paint and make plays.”
