Cavs Announce Dates for Ticket Sales for Opener vs Knicks, All Other 40 Home Games

The Cleveland Cavaliers today announced that tickets for the upcoming regular season will go on sale starting at noon on September 29th, minus the home opener against the Knicks, which those seats will go on sale on September 15th at noon.

Here’s the official release from the Cavs about their tickets as well as on sale dates and times:

Single game tickets for all 41 regular season home games of the reigning NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers 2016-17 season presented by Discount Drug Mart will go on sale this month with two on sale dates.

Tickets for the Cavs historic Championship Celebration Home Opener presented by Kenda Tires on October 25th vs. the New York Knicks will go on sale Thursday, Sept 15th at 12:00 p.m. Tickets for the remaining 40 game regular season home schedule, including the December 25th matchup against the Golden State Warriors will go on sale Thursday, September 29th at 12:00 p.m.

In what will be an unprecedented opening night in Cleveland sports history, the Cavs will raise the first-ever NBA Championship banner to the rafters of The Q and commemorate the team’s historic achievement with the presentation of the 2016 championship rings in a pregame ceremony.

Due to the unique nature of this game, the high demand and very limited individual game seating inventory that will be available, a separate on sale will be conducted on September 15th, prior to the remaining regular season games going on sale Thursday, September 29th.

All fans will have the opportunity to purchase from the limited number of tickets that will be available for each game on a first-come, first served basis while supplies last. There will be a four (4) ticket limit per transaction for the Home Opener, and a six (6) ticket limit per transaction, per game (no game limit) for all other games. Fans can purchase single game tickets online only at Cavs.com. Tickets will be distributed through Flash Seats, the Cavs electronic ticketing platform.

Tickets to Cavs games are never sold out, though, as they are always available on Flash Seats, the only official team-sanctioned marketplace where fans have the ability to buy, transfer and resell their game seats in a safe, secure and 100% guaranteed digital marketplace. The Flash Seats marketplace will open for the Cavs Home Opener at noon on Thursday, September 15th, and for the remainder of the 41-game schedule at noon on Thursday, September 29th.
