Saturday NFL Week 18 Odds

The following odds for both games are from BetMGM as of Jan. 5.

Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders

TEAMPOINT SPREADMONEYLINETOTAL
Kansas City Chiefs-9.5 (-110)-450Over 52.5 (-110)
Las Vegas Raiders+9.5 (-110)+350Under 52.5 (-110)

If the Bengals-Bills game from Monday night isn’t rescheduled, the Kansas City Chiefs will clinch the top AFC seed with a win over the Raiders on Saturday.

QB Jarrett Stidham will get his second career start for Las Vegas and will be looking to build on an impressive first showing. Stidham put up 365 yards and three touchdowns against the San Francisco 49ers, who have one of the best defenses in the league.

Defensively, the Chiefs are middle-of-the-road in most statistical categories and rank 21st and 17th in pass DVOA and rush DVOA, respectively.

On the other side, the Raiders will have their hands full with Patrick Mahomes and the top passing offense in the NFL. Las Vegas ranks dead-last in pass DVOA while allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game and second-highest adjusted yards per attempt. The Raiders also have the second-lowest sack rate and a bottom-ten pressure rate. With Chandler Jones and Rock Ya-Sin having been placed on injured reserve last week, it could be a long day for the Raiders’ defense.

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars

TEAMPOINT SPREADMONEYLINETOTAL
Tennessee Titans+6 (-110)+225Over 39.5 (-110)
Jacksonville Jaguars-6 (-110)-275Under 39.5 (-110)

The winner of this game will be crowned AFC South champion and be off to the playoffs. For the Jaguars, this would be their first playoff appearance since the 2017 season and the second in the last 15 years. If Jacksonville loses, they could still get in if the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and Pittsburgh Steelers all lose.

Tennessee will turn to Joshua Dobbs at quarterback again with Ryan Tannehill still recovering from ankle surgery. Most importantly, RB Derrick Henry will return to give the offense a massive boost. In his career, Henry has averaged 105.3 yards and 1.3 touchdowns across 12 games against Jacksonville.

The Jaguars will look to franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence and the passing game to lead them to victory, as rushing against Tennessee will likely come at a premium. The Titans rank second in rush DVOA but 18th in pass DVOA and will likely be getting back key defensive pieces up front in Jeffery Simmons and Denico Autry. Tennessee has allowed the most passing yards per game and Lawrence is ninth in passing yards heading into Week 18.
