2017 High School Football Preview: Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen

The Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen struggled last season, going 3-7 in the 2016 campaign, but had a tough schedule, with seven of their ten games being either against playoff teams or teams above .500.

This year, the Ironmen are looking to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2013. Head coach John Lundy talked to NEO Sports Insiders about how his team is preparing for the upcoming season.

“We just have to stay healthy and be consistent.” said Lundy. “We’re basically looking for our senior leadership to step up this season. We just have to stay healthy and play together. We have eight playoff teams on our schedule, so we have our work cut out for us.”

Regular Season Schedule:

9/2 at Lake Catholic

9/9 Elyria Catholic

9/15 at NDCL

9/23 University School

9/29 at Lutheran East

10/6 at St. Thomas Aquinas
