LeBron James’ Marketing Agency Says So Long to Relationship with Johnny Manziel

The separation from companies and Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has started, as Cleveland.com reports that the LeBron James‘ marketing agency has cut ties with Manziel, this after a wave of news that the quarterback spent the final weekend of the Browns season in Las Vegas…wearing a disguise.

“We’ve decided to end our formal business relationship with Johnny,” said Maverick Carter, James’ long-time friend and business partner who runs LRMR, the agency which until now had represented Manziel in endorsement deals.

“I will continue to support and advise him as a friend,” Carter said. “However, because Johnny needs to focus on personal growth, the next phase of his career and because LRMR continues to expand beyond marketing, we made the mutual decision that it was best to terminate our business relationship.”

James himself spoke about Manziel when asked the question, stating that ‘He’ll figure it out at some point, we all hope.’

As far as Manziel’s future goes, it doesn’t look good from a number of experts for him to be back in Cleveland next season. Monday Peter King of Sports Illustrated was the latest to state that Manziel won’t be a member of the Browns next season.
