Higgins considered week-to-week, Browns working out Rishard Matthews

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Browns are coming off their biggest win in a long time. In fact, it might be the biggest win since 2014 when the Browns defeated the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. At point the Browns were 7-4 that season. The Browns would go onto to lose every game the rest of that way though in what was the beginning of a very rough road for the Browns. Yesterday the Browns beat the Baltimore Ravens 12-9 in the final seconds of overtime. Kicker Greg Joseph barely made a 37-yard field goal to beat the Ravens. It was the Browns first home win since 2013.

RaRshard “Hollywood” Higgins played a big role in win over Baltimore. He had three catches for 66 yards with a touchdown from QB Baker Mayfield before halftime. Higgins left the game in fourth quarter with what the Browns were saying is a knee injury. Today, Hue Jackson said it is an MCL sprain for Higgins and he is considered week-to-week.

With Higgins potentially out for a few weeks. The Browns are back in the market for a wide receiver. Today, the hosted veteran WR Rishard Matthews. Bryant is still available but the Browns have had no conversations about signing Bryant recently.

The Brown host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. on CBS. The Chargers are a -1 point favorite on the road.
