Browns to Release Veteran Linebacker Karlos Dansby

The Browns are letting veteran linebacker Karlos Dansby walk, as Adam Schefter and Pat McManamon are reporting that the 34-year-old is being released.

In two seasons with the Browns Dansby has played in 28 games, this past season starting all 16 games. In 2015 Dansby had three interceptions and two touchdowns.

He inked a four-year deal worth $24 million back in 2014 with a $6 mil signing bonus. He was set to make $5 mil this season with a $1.5 mil signing bonus, meaning his cap hit would be $6.5 mil.
