3 Teams in the History of the NBA Have Come Back from a 2-0 Deficit in Finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers look to put an end to Golden State’s historic season, but to do so will have to make some history of their own.

The Cavs are down 2-0 in the series. In the history of the NBA Finals, when a team takes a 2-0 lead in the series, that team has gone on to win the series 28 of 31 times.

The only teams to accomplish this feat were the 2006 Miami Heat against the Dallas Mavericks; the 1977 Portland TrailBlazers against the Philadelphia 76ers; and the 1969 Boston Celtics against the Los Angeles Lakers?

The odds are not in Cleveland’s favor, but with two home games coming up, we’ll see if the Cavs can do the unexpected.
