Boston Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward suffered a fractured left ankle in the season opener between the Cavs and Celtics midway through the first quarter, sending everyone into shock. It was Hayward’s first game as a Celtic since leaving the Utah Jazz and the injury likely will end Hayward’s first season with Boston.
