Sluggish offensive night leads to another Cavs loss against 76ers; three takeaways

2. Clarkson’s ejection

With about 12 seconds to go in the game, Philadelphia’s Dario Saric dunked the ball on a fast break putting his team up 10. The Cavs didn’t take too kindly to the play, especially Jordan Clarkson, who threw the ball at Saric’s back.

Clarkson was ejected, and after the game, said his reaction was due to the unwritten rules of the game.

“Basketball, that’s it,” he said when asked why he threw the ball at Saric’s back. “Part of the game. If anybody says different or they want to think they would’ve done something different or anything else, they’re lying. Especially if it was that point in the game.”
