McGregor-Mayweather Made Its First Stop On The World Tour In Los Angeles Yesterday; Three Takeaways From The Presser

The combat sports world has by far the most intriguing fight it has ever seen, as UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor is taking on numerous world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather in a 12-round boxing match at T-Mobile Arena. Mayweather is 49-0 in the ring, so finding a gameplan to defeat him hasn’t worked out yet.

While Mayweather is an all-time boxing great, McGregor was the first UFC fighter to hold two UFC championships at the same time. The fight will be a very non-traditional battle, as Conor has never competed in a boxing match before.

The first press conference took place yesterday and had its ups and downs. After letting the craziness soak in for a day, let’s look at the three takeaways from the beginning of the Mayweather-McGregor World Tour.
