Manziel Spotted at Dallas Mavericks Game, Declines Interview with ESPN

Johnny Manziel, who is technically still employed by the Cleveland Browns, attended the Dallas Mavericks vs Miami Heat game on Wednesday night.

ESPN asked to interview him, but he declined and told them he would not talk about himself, but was willing to talk about the Mavericks.

A video surfaced roughly two weeks ago that showed Manziel at a concert with friends, including Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons.

Questions loom over reports that the Browns are going to cut ties with Manziel on March 9th, and apparently Johnny has no comment.

Can’t blame the guy for wanting to go to a basketball game in peace, but for someone whose livelihood as a professional football player is at stake, he has not shown any urgency to clarify rumors and reports that have damaged his reputation.

March 9th is 34 days away, but who’s counting?
