Kevin Love Out for Tonight’s Game Three of the NBA Finals Against Golden State

There will be no questions as to if Cavaliers forward Kevin Love will play in tonight’s critical game three of the NBA Finals at the Q at 9pm against the Golden State Warriors.

Marc Stein of ESPN tweets that Love is not going to be cleared medically for the game, and thus is out for the game which is basically a must-win for the Cavs.

Love was elbowed in the back of the head in the second quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Warriors by Harrison Barnes

UPDATE 1:54pm: The Cavs have sent out a release about Love and his status for the game:

Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (concussion) is listed as OUT for tonight’s NBA Finals Game Three vs. the Golden State Warriors at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. Love will remain in the NBA concussion protocol under the direct supervision and oversight of team physician Dr. Alfred Cianflocco, Dr. Jeffery Kutcher of the NBA and Cavs head athletic trainer Steve Spiro. His status for Game 4 will be updated at the appropriate time.
