Gordon’s Return Not Enough, Browns Fall to Chargers 19-10 to Drop to 0-12; Three Takeaways

1. Two Steps Forward, Three Steps Back

Browns QB DeShone Kizer continues to take steps back after having a good performance the week before. Kizer completed only 15/32 pass attempts today. He threw for 215 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and a 66.5 rating.

Kizer also rushed 5 times for 46 yards. He also fumbled the ball late in the game that was recovered by the Chargers. The rookie 21-year-old out of Notre Dame has not given the Browns any reasons to not pass on a quarterback next draft. Accuracy has been major issue for Kizer all season. Once again, that was the case Sunday.
