DL/LB Prospects in 2017 Draft

In closing, here are a few names of players the Browns could add to sure up that front seven in the draft, who are projected to be available between the 12th overall pick and the end of the second round.

Reuben Foster LB Alabama

Malik McDowell DL Michigan State

Zach Cunningham LB Vanderbilt

Chris Wormley DL Michigan

Caleb Brantley DT Florida

Solomon Thomas DL Stanford

Taco Charlton DE Michigan

Charles Harris DE/OLB Missouri

Dawuane Smoot DE/OLB Illinois

T.J. Watt LB Wisconsin

Jarrad Davis LB Florida

DeMarcus Walker DL Florida State

Takkarist McKinley DE/OLB UCLA

Jaleel Johnson DT Iowa

Nazair Jones DL North Carolina

Carlos Watkins DT Clemson

Tim Williams DE/OLB Alabama

Charles Walker DT Oklahoma

*Raekwon McMillan LB Ohio State (3rd round)*

It’s no secret the Browns need offensive linemen, defensive backs, safeties, and oh yeah, a quarterback.

But with as many draft picks and cap space as they have, it’s not unrealistic to expect the team to address the front seven with two of their five picks in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft.

We’ll take a look at how the Browns can address the secondary in our next edition of “Envisioning the 2017 Browns.”
