Eminem, Mark Wahlberg Invest in Dan Gilbert’s Sneaker Business

Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert is now a business partner to rapper Eminem and actor/former-rapper Mark Wahlberg.

Eminem and Wahlberg invested in Gilbert’s sneaker business, StockX.

StockX is described as a  “stock market for sneakers.”

Browns cornerback Joe Haden also bought stock in the company as part of a group of investors who put $6 million into the company.

Wahlberg announced that his restaurant chain would be adding a franchise in Cleveland in Spring 2017, and his relationship with Gilbert didn’t just start with this sneaker business.

Eminem grew up in Detroit, the same city where Gilbert has been heavily involved in re-vamping the Downtown district.

Don’t be surprised if Wahlberg or Eminem stop by for a Cavs game down the road to say hello to Gilbert.
