Cleveland SC Unveils New Crest And Logo

CLEVELAND, Ohio– Cleveland Soccer Club has revealed its crest and visual identity in anticipation of its first season in the National Premier Soccer League.

The Guardian was identified early as a feature of the identity because of the symbol’s inseparable connection to Cleveland’s culture. Cleveland SC shares the spirit of progress represented by the Guardian as we remember the successes of Cleveland soccer’s past while achieving future greatness.

Cleveland SC’s colors, orange and black, are unique among NPSL clubs and help make Cleveland SC instantly recognizable on the field and in the community. A dynamic shade of orange conveys the action and spirit of Cleveland SC. Clevelanders have embraced orange for decades, and CSC chose to let it shine against a modern, yet classic black backdrop.

Cleveland SC President Sam Seibert added, “The orange skies we get in Northeast Ohio are some of the most awesome backdrops of scenery I’ve ever seen, especially over Lake Erie, and they generally fade to black with the sunset. Cleveland SC is the new prize of the Sixth City scene, and we plan on being a staple in the communities of this great city.”

Cleveland SC was founded in 2018 and announced on February 19, 2018 it would begin their first season of play during the NPSL’s 2018 season. The club has since announced it has reached an agreement with John Carroll University to make Don Shula Stadium the first home of Cleveland Soccer Club.

Thanks to Sam Seibart of Cleveland SC for the Info on the Crest
