PREVIEW: Cavaliers go for fifth straight win against Pistons Monday night

1. Defend the perimeter

The Pistons are ninth in the league in 3-pointers made (176) and sixth in the league in 3-point percentage (38.2). They also just saw their streak of hitting at least 12 3-pointers in six straight games end, but still have a franchise record.

Over the last five games, the Cavs’ opponents’ shooting percentage from deep has decreased; however, they have still given up 11 or more 3s in each of those games. Not letting the Pistons settle in at their brand new Little Caesars Arena (where they have gone 7-1 so far this season) will be key.
