Browns Reportedly Looking Into Former Jets Wide Out Eric Decker

The Browns are always in the mix to add to the roster, and one player that could have an impact if the two sides can reach a deal is recently released veteran wide out Eric Decker.

The former New York Jets receiver has already spoken to the Tennessee Titans, and Albert Breer of NFL Network states the Browns have done some looking into about bringing in Decker.

Last season the 29-year-old appeared in just three games, pulling in nine passes for 194 yards and a pair of touchdowns before getting hurt and being placed on season-ending injured reserve with both hip and shoulder injuries.

He’s a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2010, and spent four years in Denver before signing a five-year, $36.25 million contract that included $15 million guaranteed with the Jets as a free agent back in 2014.
