2018 Cleveland Browns Seven-Round Mock Draft

NFL Draft
Second Round

33.) Taven Bryan DT Florida
I like the idea of Bryan if he is still on the board with the best player available approach. While finding a LT to replace Joe Thomas is key I don’t know if there will be one available here. Williams and McGlinchey should be gone and the Patriots may take Miller before the Browns can. Dorsey traded away Danny Shelton so there is an opening a DT that needs replaced. Bryan is an athletic more undersized DT that Gregg Williams loves that can attack the middle and open up things for the ends.
35.) Courtland Sutton WR SMU
I think Sutton can end up being the top WR from this draft. He reminds me a lot of another WR that went in the second round that I was a lot higher on than most people. That WR was Alshon Jeffery. They have similar size and speed. Jeffery might be a little more athletic but Sutton is quicker. With Gordon and Coleman as home run hitters on the outside and Landry in the slot, Sutton offers a big reliable frame as a number three WR right away and a big redone threat.
64.) Jamarco Jones OT Ohio State

I would bet that Coleman takes over as the starting LT this season but the team definitely wants someone to compete with him or potentially take over. Jones is a good fit at LT and if he can be had at the end of the second round then the Browns find a steal. He won’t flash but can get the job done of keeping the QB upright.

I like your however D tackle at 33 is a bit of a head scratcher when they signed 3 really good ones last year and signed Jamie Meaders tender for the year. There are only 2 spots to play and 4 on the team and i can see with drafting Chubb on third downs it would be he Garrett Ogbha and Ogunjobi a free safety or #1 CB needs taken there
