The Cleveland Browns 2025 Season Game-by-Game Predictions

The Cleveland Browns were 3-14 a season ago, so in the mind of most fans, there’s only one way to go, and that’s “up”. Their coach, Kevin Stefanski, is entering his sixth season with the team, and while his team finished last season in the gutter, he did also produce two previous playoff teams in other years. Time will only tell how this season goes. The Vegas odds makers have Cleveland winning eight games or more at +380, so they don’t have a lot of faith in the Browns.

I like those odds and believe the Browns can get to that eight-win total and potentially get back to the playoffs. If the team can continue to get great play by their defense and score more than a 15-point average on the offensive side of the ball, then making that win total mark is certainly in play.

Let’s break it down now with our game-by-game predictions.

Week 1 Home: Cincinnati Bengals (win 1-0)

The Browns are 6-4 against Cincinnati in Stefanski’s time in Cleveland, including being 4-1 at home. While the Bengals have won the last three times, this is a new season and look for the Browns to use the energy of the day to win and move to 1-0.

Week 2 Away: Baltimore Ravens (loss 1-1)

The Ravens are celebrating their stealing of the old Browns teams when Cleveland comes to town in Week 2. While I believe the Browns will bring a lot to this game, I think the hometown advantage will be too much to overcome

Week 3 Home: Green Bay Packers (win, 2-1)

The Browns return home and get back in the win column. This will be the first of playing the teams from the NFC North Division and while the Packers will be a tough out, I think the early-season vibe of a potential successful season and a little Joe Flacco magic will help get the win for Cleveland.

Week 4 Away: Detroit Lions (loss, 2-2)

The Lions have been very successful in recent years and I suspect this game could get out of reach early for the Browns.

Week 5 Away: Minnesota Vikings ( win, 3-2) Played in London

I’ve gone back and forth on this game but in the end, I think the Browns getting out of Dodge and traveling across the pond will be motivation for the team to pull off the victory.

Week 6 Away: Pittsburgh Steelers (loss, 3-3)

Cleveland doesn’t in Pittsburgh very often, and this early battle between potentially Joe Flacco and Aaron Rodgers should be an entertaining class. But like most trips to the Steel City, a loss for the Browns is probably inevitable.

Week 7 Home: Miami Dolphins (win, 4-3)

A return home and that good home cooking will be enough for the Browns to get back to victory lane.

Week 8 Away: New England (loss, 4-4)

Traveling to New England in the week before the Browns’ long-awaited “bye-week” could spell doom for the squad.

Week 9 The Bye Week

Week 10 Away: New York Jets (win, 5-4)

When you play the Jets, you have to assume a win! I mean, they are the Jets!

Week 11 Home: Baltimore Ravens (win 6-4)

It won’t be pretty, but the Browns will be hell bent on taking down the Ravens in this divisional battle

Week 12 Away: Vegas Raiders (loss, 6-5)

Despite the Raiders probably not being a very good team this season, Cleveland never travels well when they head west, and I imagine it’ll be a lot of the same in this close loss. There might even be a fumble recovery by the Browns that, despite video evidence proving they got the fumble, the refs in the game will play favorites to the Raiders and deny the Cleveland team a well-earned win.

Week 13 Home: San Francisco 49ers (win, 7-5)

It’ll be deja vu in this one as the Browns defense steps up big in this low-scoring battle, just as they did back in 2023 when these two same squads battled it out. With the game on the line, whoever is kicking for the 49ers will again miss the game-winning score, preserving a narrow Browns win.

Week 14 Home: Tennessee Titans (win, 8-5)

There the Titans… enough said!

Week 15 Away: Chicago Bears (loss, 8-6)

With things seemingly looking good for the Browns at this point in the season, the team comes crashing back to Earth as they lose an embarrassing game to the Bears.

Week 16 Home: Buffalo Bills (loss, 8-7)

It’s Josh Allen and the Bills. While Cleveland will play better, they won’t be able to stop Allen. Hopes of a postseason berth for Cleveland start to fade.

Week 17 Home: Pittsburgh Steelers (win, 9-7)

The Browns rally late in this barn burner and beat their nemesis

Week 18 Away: Cincinnati Bengals (loss, 9-8)

The Bengals have too much on the line to lose at home, and Cleveland has already been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention.
