Linebackers:
The Browns will have a veteran group for the linebackers this season. Sam linebacker Jamie Collins will be returning from MCL Injury that ended his season in week 10 at the Detroit Lions. The Browns also have returning Christian Kirksey and Joe Schobert.
Both Kirksey and Schobert were among the leagues best linebacker duo’s last season. Another linebacker who will see significant playing time will be linebacker Mychal Kendricks. Kendricks signed with the Browns on a 1 yr deal worth $3.5 million. The sixth year man is coming off a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Browns drafted Genard Avery. He is a fifth round draft pick out of Memphis. He is expected to get a considerable amount of playing time as a rookie. James Burgess will be another player to keep an eye on. An undrafted linebacker who played with the Browns last season.
