Another game, another potential milestone for James. He needs 11 assists to reach the 8,000-career assists plateau, adding to his legacy as one of the greatest to play the game.
The 14-time All-Star and four-time MVP is averaging a career-high 11.8 assists this season, and has averaged a triple-double over the course of February, even with Love sidelined. With a wave of younger players now on the Cavs, it allows LeBron to do less work and distribute the ball rather than grind out possessions himself.
