OHSAA Football State Championships on Spectrum and OHSAA Radio Network

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 52nd Annual Ohio High School Athletic Association Football State Championships kick off Thursday night at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, and all seven games will be broadcast live on Spectrum News 1, with several streaming options (see details below), and on the OHSAA Radio Network, with 42 affiliates statewide.

In addition, the OHSAA Radio Network has posted its weekly Playoff Preview Show for stations to download and play prior to their own pregame shows or as part of their weekly programming. The video version of the Playoff Preview Show will be posted on the OHSAA’s social media platforms on Wednesday evening.

OHSAA State Championship Tickets

All tickets for the state championship games must be purchased online in advance at www.OHSAA.org/tickets. There will not be tickets sold at the gates.

This week’s show includes a feature segment from the Pro Football Hall of Fame that recaps the announcement on Monday that the OHSAA football state championships will stay in Canton through 2026 thanks to a new three-year contract.

The also goes inside the state championship match-ups with previews submitted by the broadcasters who will call the games, including David Bacon (Division I for Spectrum), Marty Bannister (Division II for OHSAA Radio Network), Todd Bell (Division III for Spectrum), David Wilson (Division IV for OHSAA Radio Network), Tim Bray (Division V for Spectrum), Brendan Gulick (Division VI for Spectrum) and Chris Solwecki (Division VII for OHSAA Radio Network). The show is hosted by Marty Bannister.

The show includes one local break (2:00) after the Canton announcement segment for stations to insert their own spots.

All seven football state championship games will be broadcast by the OHSAA Radio Network. There is no fee to carry OHSAA Radio Network programming and there are 24 local avails in each game. Network game broadcasts are available through Skyview Satellite or an online feed.

In addition, the OHSAA Tailgate Show will be live on the OHSAA Facebook page (OHSAASports) prior to Games 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7 an hour before each game.
