Kizer Back Under Center; Hue Jackson Goes Back to Rookie QB for Browns Battle with Titans

Last week the Browns tried something different with giving Kevin Hogan a shot to be the teams’ starting quarterback as they took on the Houston Texans.

The results were much of the same for the winless Browns, as Hogan threw three picks, including a pick six, as the Browns were dominated by Houston 33-17.

Wednesday Browns head coach Hue Jackson decided to go back to rookie DeShone Kizer, as the teams’ official site announced that Kizer is going to be the starter for the teams’ home game Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

On the season Kizer is 81-of-159 for 851 yards with three touchdowns and nine interceptions. He’s run the football for a total of 126 yards, second on the team, and two scores rushing.

Sunday in the loss in Houston Hogan was 20-for-37 for 140 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions.
